Biography: | Scott Peterson, age 44, was born and raised in Mendocino, California by his parents, Dorothy and Lennard Peterson, who are still active in the community. He graduated from Mendocino High School in 1971 and went on to attend California State University at Fresno as an art major. In 1976, he began a career in graphic design and industrial arts, which culminated in a successful freelance business. By 1994, his clients included Intel, IBM, Apple Computer, Tandem Computer, Hewlett Packard and many more. His work in the field of product development contributed to four national design awards, and his innovations helped advance the state of the art for the commercial printing industry. He is an accomplished actor, writer and public speaker. Peterson has been active in Mendocino's historic preservation, he has instructed computer graphics courses and has lectured on sales and marketing at College of the Redwoods in Fort Bragg. He has two children, Rose and Ian, ages 14 and 12. |
